Nae wikis needed mate! Saw the band twice back then. Including on the Faith tour at the Edinburgh Odeon when they went on stage, played a short instrumental set behind a white sheet, while the audience chatted away oblivious, assuming it was a record. Great gig.
Although I'd add I cant mind it being a single just an album track...
Kev - what I did find when looking them up on Wiki is that the band had their roots in "left-wing theatre", whatever the fuck that means. That is if it's the same band whose single I had. Never had any of their albums, though I am now curious after not coming across their name in nearly 30 years.
Must be talking about two different bands then. I thought you were referring to the track Secrets - which is on Seventeen Seconds, The Cure's second album.
No, not talking about The Cure. But, good shout as, of course, same title!
Btw, saw The Cure two or three times back then and I saw them as both brilliant live and totally fucking boring. The totally fucking boring was at the Glasgow Pavillion - only gig I ever went to there!
