Nice image. Where's it from?
Hi Darren, so you didn't take offence at me winding you up? Good!
Image came from google image search for may day - pretty simple really!
Jeez I am truly honoured to find me on your bog roll! Just read the entry about your son and parting the ways, moving on.
It's a really heartening story how you and Jane found love via blogging. I mean when you start blogging you can't be looking for a mate - if you wanted that you'd go to a dating site, so it's a lovely story. It isn't easy for older people with kids to find new love - I'm made up for you. Maybe it will make a film one day with Leonardo diCaprio as Reidski and Keira Twice-Knightly as Jane!
*The Prodigy? Not *Bob Marley?
YP, thanks for your lovely comments. And, yes, it is difficult for older (hey, I'm only 41!) people to "find" a new love - and I am very very lucky to have found Jane! I have a friend who is doing that internet dating service thing at the moment and she is hardly having a good time of it - but I suppose if she didn't smoke it might be easier.
Steve, I'd go for the Prodigy. Saw them a couple of times - one being an all-nighter at the Brixton Academy (I think I was the oldest person there - what a saddo I must have looked) and those thumping bass lines rattled through my body for the ensuing week.
