Down Came The Angels *

John Stewart hits the winner!!

"No decent football on today," I mention to JJ on the phone first thing this morning. "There's only Queen of the South against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup semi-final, which will be boring and one-sided. So I'll just go for a session in the gym and make my way back home very slowly."

I get in and everyone on the radio is raving about what an amazing game this was and it's one of the biggest surprises of the season. I just watched the highlights - totally mental. Well done The Doonhamers!

So this is the great Reidski's blog! Now, you've criticised others for being anonymous (me) - who the fuck are you then? Some guy called Reidski - how informative is that.
I've had a look through your stuff here. That you were once a journalist, as you suggest, is virtually miraculous. There's virtually nothing of interest here to anyone who isn't soaked in beer and football. Does drinking and sport mean that you're, as you seem to claim, a great active anti-fascist? I don't think you've really understood it all. I suggest, in all honesty, that you need to have a good rethink of your empty life.
So, who are you then, if you're so non-anonymous?
Yer man

My name is Alex Reid. I lived in Irvine for the first 23 years of my life and have lived in New Cross for the last 20. That is all I am and it's all that I claim to be.
I used to try to change the world, but realised that too many of my "comrades" couldn't change their socks. I also realised that, much as I'm like now, the working class were more interested in paying their leccie and gas bills and rent and were into football and beer, so I decided to join them.
For those reading this, this anonymous person came over here from Kev's, at which he raged at the very thought of someone criticising the Free Tibet protesters. Think he claims to be some sort of Buddhist, but his outer rage shows no signs that he has yet found inner peace.
As for his comment about this being "the great Reidski's blog". What the fuck are you on about ya numpty?
As for your claim that I'm a "great active anti-fascist". Where the hell have I said that?
Anonymous, fuck off!

Where did the green inker turn up from?

Ah, the Scottish Patient.

Btw, Reidski, you can want to change the world (to the best of your ability) and watch the footie. Just maybe not at the same time.

Hey, anon:
If Reidski were truly 'soaked in beer & football', would he follow Celtic as rabidly as he does??? I'll give you the 'soaked in beer', however....

Darren - like that "green inker" comment. Had one of those in work a couple of years ago. Made me think of mentioning the letters I dealt with a couple of years ago from train driver who wanted to prove that train carrying nuclear waste was unsafe by crashing one on purpose. Yes, a real green inker! But, as I don't talk about work on this blog, then I won't mention it!

Marc - looking forward to getting soaked in beer next week, my man!
